Kindy kids at Seaford were the first in Adelaide last week to benefit from a new foundation setup to bridge the technology gap for children in "high need" areas. Foundation for the Future has been created by Adelaide home building company Hickinbotham to enlist corporate support to provide computer and fun extras for children around Adelaide. Every two months, a computer and software will be donated to an Adelaide kindergarten or pre-school. Children at these centres will also receive a takeaway bag with software to use on a home computer, plastic art smock, a zip-up fleecy and a yellow, child's size novelty construction hat.
